This
is the place where students and staff research topics for the
syllabus and read for enjoyment. The library encourages all its
members to borrow books and return them promptly, so others can use
them.
The
careers faculty occupied part of the library in June and
consequently more middle school and seniors students know about the
library. The library staff welcome Careers.
A
Library Monitor training scheme began in Term 1 and continued in
Term 2. However, more Year 9 and 10 students are needed and are
invited to serve on the circulation desk once a week.
The
School also runs an after school Homework Centre in the library on
Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
The
school library has a large number of new books and non print
resources. These are usually displayed for a few weeks in the
central display area of the library. Some interesting titles are
listed.
