This
is an excellent course dealing with all aspect of early childhood
from pregnancy to starting school. It includes modules on
children's literature, child safety and children and the law. Many
students find that it gives them a much better understanding of
parenting responsibilities. This course involves interaction with
young children, visits to primary schools and childcare centres as
well as making your own children's book and television programs.
The students are able to experience parenting first hand with the
take home virtual baby's. These baby's behaviour's like a newborn
baby would and the students must parent accordingly. Overall this
is a fun, interesting and informative course.
Exploring Early Childhood Stage 6 aims to develop unending, skills
and strategies to enable and foster positive growth and development
in the young children with whom they interact with.
